Studio is complete!

I haven't had too much time for painting lately because my foundry is taking off! As of 1/1/11 I work full time for my company Blue Barn Arts, Inc. (www.bluebarnartsinc.com) which is a small foundry and fabrication company up in Northern California catering to the interior design industry. I finally finished my studio and have a commissioned landscape to work on for Wheeler Design Group (www.wheelerdg.com) which is awesome. Hopefully more of this type of work will come in now that I am working directly with a designer. She really liked my intaglio dry points so I may be building an etching press soon!

New Painting Studio

Well I started on my studio about a year ago......we have an outbuilding that was leaking and needed electrical, water, and all the guts put in. :Last weekend I finished re-roofing, wiring, and insulating. Hopefully I can close the walls up this weekend. Thanks to Charels De Lisle Workshop I already have tons of storage. I also have a great sink and tri-fold paper towel dispenser from Lizzie's super old Medical Building.

Here's a picture from my current show scheduled to come down the end of the month at Toby's in Point Reyes Sta.

P/30 Opening!

Lizzie and I had the greatest time at P/30's opening night this Friday! P/30 features my paintings, a wine bar, and a cozy seating area with a fireplace. I had a great bowl of lamb stew and we LOVED the $15 bottle of champagne. Try the smores!!!!
